My passion is to make your skin better and see you happier. I specialize in repairing acne, skin marked by scarring (acne, wounds) and environmental damage (texture, discoloration). I have many modalities to choose from, but specialize in and LOVE Microneedling (Collagen Induction Therapy), and Chemical Peels. The Peel renews the skin surface while Microneedling regenerates the skin from within.
The skin has always been my obsession, especially as someone that had cystic acne and bad picking habits. I love reversing all that damage and seeing someone happy to show off their skin.

Who am I?
My name is Denise, The Skin Specialist. I am a Langley local for decades now, with the last decade spent in Walnut Grove.
When I took Aesthetics, it was still called Beauty School🤣. I was licensed in 1997 and had a wicked career! I’ve done music videos, fashion shows, club nights, photo shoots, weddings and more! I was the fastest waxer around and known as the Queen of Eyebrows. Then in 2010 that changed. A few car accidents and some work-related nerve damage later…I couldn’t physically do that work anymore. I retrained at UFV for Community Support Worker, and ended up a Probation Officer.
That, my friend, is it’s own story. But Corrections gave me the opportunity to recieve extensive training around Indigenous, women’s, mental health and substance use issues. I am trained in facilitation, conflict resolution, and active shooter survival among other very useful things. And, man, can I listen 😉 I’ve worked for CFSEU as outreach for a gang program, and currently spend 2.5 days a week working with people with aquired brain injuries. In 2019 the work (Community Corrections) broke me: it was time to get out.
I NEEDED to be back doing what I was supposed to be doing, but now with arthritis in both hands. So I specialize in modalities my hands can take: facials, microneedling, peels, Myolift.
I am a #MentalHealthAdvocate, as I live with CPTSD, Anxiety, Depression, & BD. I have many physical health issues I fight with too; damaged spine, neck, and hips. But this gives me such a deep sense of understanding of others suffering… I hear you! I also honor the connection between mental and skin health, with recognition to the influences of gut health.
Why Me?
I suffered with cystic acne, was an obsessive and aggressive picker and so had deep, gouges and scarring. I have used my methods to achieve smoother, even skin..so I know what works. I’m also 44, so I KNOW what works to keep us looking younger.
I am mobile capable, so you don’t even have to leave the comfort of your home. Mobile services include Peels, Microneedling, Brow & Lash Tinting. Unfortunately Facials and hair removal are not mobile.
I am open and working with strict Communicable Disease Prevention Protocols for the community’s safety. I have been certified in Infection Control and Prevention of the Novel CoronaVirus by WHO (World Health Organization), The International School of Aesthetics, Milady and The Beauty Council.

It is a reality that how we look on the outside affects how we feel about ourselves.
